Choosing the Right Bits

When it comes to removing dry, dead cuticle, Medium (blue) and Coarse (green) bits are recommended. For polishing the cuticle zone after removing the cuticle, Fine (red) bits are recommended.

Disinfecting Tools

After completing the procedure with a client, it's important to properly clean and disinfect all tools that were used. Follow these steps to ensure effective disinfection:

  • Wash all bits thoroughly with soap and water
  • Clean bits with a brush and disinfectant solution (at least 70% alcohol is recommended)
  • Sterilize bits in an autoclave or chemical sterilizer
  • Dry bits completely before storing
