Bit Kit Essential – Seven Bits for Complete Nail Services
A curated set of seven e-file bits designed to cover the full range of manicure services — from gel and acrylic removal to cuticle work and finishing. This kit includes a selection of diamond, carbide, and silicone bits suited for everyday use across different nail types and techniques.
This is a solid, comprehensive kit that handles whatever walks in the door. Not every service will need every bit, but when you need the right tool for the job, it's here.
The kit includes
Diamond Nail Drill Bit D-118 Medium grit
A pointed flame shape for precise cuticle work, lifting, and refining the nail plate. Works well for detail around the cuticle area.
Coated Tungsten Carbide Bit Cone CZ12-2-2 – Fine Grit
Cone-shaped carbide bit with a safety tip for gel and acrylic removal. The coating reduces heat buildup and prevents clogging. Fine grit allows for controlled work near skin.
Diamond Cool Groove Bit Cylinder DGC-2.7 – Medium Grit
Rounded cylinder with cross-cut grooves that improve air circulation and reduce heat. Suitable for cuticle work, cleaning nail walls, and shaping.
Silicone Drill Bit H-512 – Coarse grit
A silicone bit for the finishing stage. Used with cuticle oil to smooth and polish the skin around the nails. Coarse grit handles tougher areas while remaining gentle on skin.
Coated Diamond Nail Drill Bit Candle DCK-37 – Medium grit
Candle-shaped bit for cleaning side folds, treating the periungual area, and removing cuticles. The shape allows access to curved areas without dragging.
Diamond Nail Drill Bit Thin Rounded Cone D-15
Small cone shape for detail work. Useful for polishing the cuticle zone after removal and cleaning under the free edge.
Nail Drill Bit Storage Box NC-10
Compact plastic case that holds up to nine 3/32" bits. Keeps bits organized and protected when not in use.

How to use
How To Use
Every service is different, so use what fits the task at hand.
For gel or acrylic removal, start with the Coated Tungsten Carbide Cone (CZ12-2-2) at 20,000 RPM. Work in one direction, parallel to the nail plate.
For cuticle work—lifting, cleaning, and detailing—reach for the Diamond Pointed Flame (118), Diamond Candle (DCK-37), or Diamond Cool Groove Cylinder (DGC) depending on the area you're working. Speeds between 10,000–15,000 RPM are a good starting point. The cooling grooves on the DGC bit help prevent heat buildup on longer passes.
For tight spots like side walls and under the free edge, the Diamond Cone Rounded at 8,000–12,000 RPM gives you control without dragging.
At the very end of the service, apply cuticle oil and use the Silicone Bullet at 15,000–20,000 RPM to smooth and polish the skin. This step works whether you're finishing a basic maintenance manicure or a full set of enhancements.
