We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from U-tools. We now accept returns on most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Accompanied by any free gifts or promotional items included with your order. If gifts are not returned, their retail value will be deducted.

To start a return, contact us at hello@u-tools.ca with your order number. If accepted, we will send return instructions.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Items must be securely packaged in a separate shipping box. Please do not apply return labels directly to the original product packaging—this protects the box for resale.

Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process a refund to your original payment method. A 15% restocking fee will be deducted to cover handling and original shipping costs.

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect your return.

All returned items are thoroughly inspected upon receipt. To qualify for a refund or store credit, the item must be in resellable condition—exactly as you received it.

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds if we find:

  • Signs of use, wear, or installation (e.g., product has been plugged in, tested, or used).

  • Water damage, stains, or any liquid exposure.

  • Scratches, dents, or physical damage caused by the customer.

  • Missing parts, accessories, or original packaging.

  • Damaged, torn, or crushed packaging that prevents the item from being resold as new.

  • Any damage not related to a manufacturing defect.

Exchanges & Store Credit

Want to swap for something else? Instead of a cash refund, we can issue store credit with no restocking fee (provided the item passes inspection). Store credit never expires and can be used on anything in our shop.

To exchange, just follow the same return steps and let us know you'd prefer store credit. Please note: original shipping costs will still be deducted from your store credit, return shipping is your responsibility, and any free gifts must be returned.

Damages & Issues

Inspect your order immediately. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 14 days at hello@u-tools.ca. We will cover return shipping and offer a full replacement or cash refund (no restocking fee). Proof of defect (e.g., clear photos) may be required to process your claim.

Only manufacturer defects are eligible for a full replacement or refund. If we determine the item was damaged by the customer, we will reject the return and send the item back to you at your expense.

After 14 days, defective equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Please refer to the warranty terms provided with your product or contact us for assistance.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

  • Clearance items (all sales are final).

  • Gift cards.

  • Products that have been used or opened (unless defective).


We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after shipment, or for shipping delays out of our control.

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time.
